Barnet East School Sports Partnership Team would like to welcome you to our website & strapline "Start Young - Live Long".

The partnership is now in its sixth year working towards the National PE and Sport Strategy - PESSYP. The strategy has key strands, each designed to maximise opportunities for young people to access High Quality PE and School Sport. As a partnership we strive to achieve our next target of Young People accessing 3 hours of PE and School Sport each week.

In partnership with key organisations we work to embed the Offer of 5 Hours of PE & Sport within school and the community to all 5 - 16 year olds (3 hours for 16 - 19 year olds). Key partners include Barnet Council Education & Sports Development Teams, Youth Sport Trust, Pro Active North London and National Governing Bodies of Sport.

We host 6 secondary schools, 23 primary schools and 1 special school across the East wards of the London Borough of Barnet. Look at our diagram to see which schools are in our partnership.

The partnership has 10 great team members (see meet the team) who are commited to working towards the 5 hour offer for all 5 - 19 year olds. Read our website to see all the amazing things you can access in sport and physical activity in Barnet East.
